The sixth annual World Water Bombing Championships were held at Ponds Forge leisure centre in Sheffield. Scores of people turned out in fancy dress to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support cheered on by a 400 plus strong crowd. Each team member had to bomb into the pool for glory and points. As competitors lept from a 3m high diving board, they were awarded points for style as well as the biggest and widest splash which was measured on a giant splash'o'meter! In 2010 I competed with three other participants under the name of 'Team H2Whoooooaaaahhhh!' under a medieval theme.
