Rainbows Children's Hospice in Loughborough is an organisation that always with a smile has been associated with from its conception. In April 2011, Rainbows hosted a charity 'Ladies Night' at Leicester Racecourse. I was asked, along with some of the men from the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, to wait-on for the lucky ladies that evening. Whilst the Tigers' boys were dressed in white T-Shirts (with a dickie-bow motif) I was asked parade in a Union Jack thong and apron. Late in the evening, the Tigers' boys auctioned off their T-shirts, whilst my apron fetched over £100 for the children's hospice.
