International Pillow Fight Day was celebrated around the world on April 2nd 2011, marking it the fourth year of this glorious annual feather-fest. Started by The Urban Playground Movement, International Pillow Fight Day sees participants smack each other around with their feather-filled weapons for approximatley 30 minutes. The organisation's mission is to make more use of public spaces and ultimately replace the world's couch-potato habits. In London, participants gathered at Trafalgar Square wearing pyjamas, dressing gowns and fancy dress, to raise money for the victims of the Japan Earthquake.
