It's a Boxing Day tradition to travel to the coast and meet up with some other like minded individuals for a post-Christmas Day swim! However, in 2010 (because of the extreme weather conditions that swept across the UK) I decided to take a much shorter trip to a lake at 'Parklands Fisheries' in Hinckley, Leicestershire, where I cut a hole in the ice, stripped naked and took an ice plunge!
