The World Egg Throwing Championships take place in Swaton, near Sleaford, in Lincolnshire. There are multiple disciplines, including Russian Egg Roulette and the accuracy championships. In June 2011 I again acted as the target for the accuracy event, as well as competing in the Egg Roulette competition (although I was unluckily eliminated in the first round!).

In the accuracy event, competitors get 3 eggs to hurl and they are awarded 1 point for hitting the arms and legs, 2 points for the body, and 3 points for the groin! Dressed as a Spartan, I needed the bravery of 300 to cope with the barrage of eggs that came my way!
